What happens when we are struck with the first spark of awareness? The first spark of who we are. In awareness The journey begins…
With that very first spark our life changes. For sure. Even the dimmest ray of Sun and entire world changes. Now we can never turn back. We may get tired, we give up, we rise again, we sometimes limp or walk, sometimes we run or eve fly. We may step down as well but can never ever return to the state of complete darkness, we were in before. Now only forward marching. Knowingly, unknowingly, intentionally, unintentionally, willingly, unwillingly, spontaneously or struggling. The only way is forward marching. Towards Light, towards Truth, towards Purity. Towards our highest potential of our Self Supreme Being.
All situation the life has been providing us continuously, whether in stark darkness or little brightness or full beaming brightness, are meant for us…

This was one of those books that has been sitting on my TBR list forever. Finally, I decided to give it a go. Although it isn’t my usual type of book, I found it to be a beautiful story.
‘The Book Thief’ tells the story of a young girl, Liesel, growing up in Germany during WWII. After the death of her brother, she is put into foster care by her mother. Unlikely as it may seem, she goes on to form a close relationship with her foster father as she grows up in a nation inundated by the Nazi regime.
Along the way, Liesel forms a friendship with a neighborhood boy, Rudy Steiner. She falls in love with books and takes to stealing during that trying time. In so many ways, her childhood mirrored any other “normal” happy…

Here I am sharing one of the poems of Sir Parupudi Satyavenkatavinodkumar from Hyderabad whose poems inspire me the most.He mostly writes poems in the name SoulNectar Swansh.
💖 A Song of Silence 💖
As I walk and walk and walk
I ponder about the day’s incidences
I hear and see many news articles
Some sour some sweet some horrible
Oh these immitigable perceptions
Sometime I feel pain like a prick
Sometimes sweet sensations
Sometimes I feel like to vanish
Many can be the reasons for happiness
Only human perceptions grow sourness
A storm picks up in the inner world
Gurgitations of commotion driving crazy
The core of the inner world transforms
Into a balancing scale that pulsates
Between happiness and sufferings
That keep flooding through perceptions
And in times like these that I simply slip
Into another world within serene
A land where songs of silence reins

I always do a search for any blogs that use the tag ‘tatting’. That’s how I came across https://myrahochang.wordpress.com/ She was rejoicing in the fact that she had managed to tat again, fifteen years after a stroke that left her with the use of only one hand. That post is here.
I also found that she was honouring her mother and the amazing flowers and butterflies she crocheted. They are so beautiful it is hard to believe they are crochet. Images of the flowers are here. There is also a Wikipedia entry, which details all the exhibitions of the flowers.
At 85 years old, she is an inspiration to us all!
“Only you can stop yourself.”
“Instead of pointing fingers at others when something goes wrong, point at yourself.”
“There is never a lack of resources; merely a lack of resourcefulness.”
“Kick your excuses to the curb or watch your life slip away faster than the view while driving.”
These are four of my favorite motivational quotes. The first is just a common phrase with no original author (as far as I know) but does anyone know who/where the subsequent three originated from? (hint: The second is a man who shares the same initials as a famous alien, the third is a man who has a surname similar to a flock of birds, and the last is from the person writing the words that you’re reading right now.)
Mondays are really tough on those people that live for their weekends. In response, #motivationmonday. I’ll be posting more in this theme on…
